Applying patches on git from mailbox or from previous git format-patch

I’m used to apply patches from mailing list using patch command instead of git commands.

The right way is using “git am” command. Example:

Get last patch from repository on machine A:
$ git format-patch -1
00xx-ABCD…

Apply this same patch on repository of machine B:
$ git am 00xx-ABCD…
